Originally from the tropical islands of the Philippines, Liz is a musician, teacher, therapist, and marketer all rolled into one. She started out as a classically-trained singer with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the University of the Philippines. Eager to gain a deeper understanding of how music can be used in clinical settings, she ventured to Finland and earned a Master in Music Therapy from the University of Jyväskylä. Her music therapy training eventually helped shape her approach as a music educator. For over a decade, Liz taught and worked with people of all ages and abilities across the Philippines, Finland, Singapore, and New Zealand.

Recently Liz finished a postgraduate diploma in Marketing at the Auckland University of Technology. Initially a volunteer at Raukatauri, she's grateful for the opportunity to further hone her administrative and marketing skills while serving the bigger community.

When she’s not working, Liz loves to bury her nose in a good book or explore new restaurants and cafes in town. Optimistic and inquisitive—that’s Liz!
